Tech War 2009 is an exciting and challenging event organized by Hyderabad Microsoft Developer User Group (hyderabadtechies.info). It is 48 hour Non-stop online technical sessions event on Microsoft technologies started at 19-Dec-2009 2:00 P.M and ended on 21-Dec-2009 @ 2:00 P.M. A successfully organized event with excellent online support from the team, timely speaker support and participants encouragement by logging into sessions there by making it more interactive asking questions, participating in quiz at the end of every session. Support team worked effectively and they took care that they crossed all the barriers and unexpected power failures/ Internet disconnectivity to the speakers by arranging enough backup sessions. Quiz winners were awarded with geeky gifts during sessions to keep it more encouraging.
In this 48 hour Non-stop online technical session’s event, speakers from all over the world have participated covering all the cutting edge technologies of Microsoft. Organizer and Core team of this Hyderabad developer user group (Hyderabadtechies.info) have been very alert for all the 48 hours and their hard work as well as speaker’s co-operation helped them to achieve this record which is for the first time in Microsoft Developers User group. This event is the first of its kind in the history with wonderful 48 hour Non-stop very interesting online knowledge sharing sessions. There were 50+ sessions with 16 speakers and these covered all the latest Microsoft technologies. This was a small experiment and they assure that there will be more such exciting events and wonderful activities in future from hyderabadtechies.info. Event highlights: · Day1 Keynote was given by Abhishek Kanth. · Day2 Keynote was given by Ashwin Kini. · New speakers were introduced through Hyderabad Techies · Few sessions were given my MVP’s. · Speakers were from all over the world · Even in the odd timings also there were enough participants with the same enthusiasm and participation continued in the sessions. · There was Q & A section and many questions were raised by the participants. · Count of attendees was on an average 54 all the time which was very encouraging for speakers and core team. · Organizer and Core team acted very fast by making immediate arrangement for the backup session. · Hyderabadtechies.info team says that they had lots of fun throughout the event as they worked collectively as a team for the entire 48 hours. · Excellent feedback was given by all the participants as well as other MVP’s and every one were excited to believe that such an event happened and it was a success.
